Omolulu Thomas is a dual-qualified barrister with extensive experience in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Originally trained and practised as a barrister in Nigeria, he developed significant expertise in commercial, civil, and admiralty law, earning recognition from the UK-based publication Who’s Who Legal in 2010 as a shortlisted practitioner in shipping and maritime law.


After completing his Master’s degree in the UK, Omolulu was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2011. Since then, he has built a diverse practice, combining advocacy with arbitration work.


Omolulu has particular experience in criminal defence, regularly appearing in the Magistrates’ Court and advising on all aspects of summary-only offences, sentencing, and plea/allocations. He represents both commercial and private clients facing a wide range of criminal and regulatory matters. His instructions frequently include defending motoring offences, road traffic prosecutions, and taxi licence appeals.
